Burnt

Well I got used to stains in my carpet
Get the feeling I've got to learn to like it
Feral beasts, no sleep in my pit
Damp sheets deplete my mind and
It stinks, reeks, walls un-plastered
Concede my life's a disaster
Release, creep, times moving faster
But I'll learn to like it
I'll learn to love it

Ill learn to like it
I'll learn to love it
I'll learn to like it

I'll miss this house
All the walls with the mould and waking up in the winter when everybody was cold
I'll miss the times
The parties that we held when
All sorts arrived and different people would meld
And I feel bad
That I hate it
I wandering these corridors trying not to fake it
But I have to
The depressions setting in, these people just don't get me and they think that I sin
And even though
The times that we've had when we would chat I the living room they've never been bad
But they don't stimulate me
I don't want you to hate me
I never said it to your face coz I knew that you'd skate me
Got an opinion of myself and I know that I'm lazy
The times you guys would listen to me when I'm going crazy
But my vision of those times is getting vague
When we talk I'm on trial in a seat at The Hague
And I'm confined to my room like the bubonic plague
So I'm just sitting in this room with a gin and tonic
Warded away by the fumes it's demonic chthonic
Although you're welcome that pneumonic never learnt
Wonder
I ever left you feeling burnt
