Lost Planet
In the beginning of our time
Between Jupiter and Mars
There was a planet full of life
The pride of all the universe.
There were rivers flowing free
And there were mountains climbing high
And there were flowers and trees
And there were birds up in the sky.
There were many countries.
Two of them were proud.
One was in the North,
The other in the South.
And the people of the North
Had their castles filled with gold
To distribute as they said,
'To the hungry and the old.'
And the people of the South
Had their pockets made of stone
And they said that 'Everyone
Could be free to have his own.'
Every other country had to choose a side -
For only the North,
The South could decide.
There were powerful weapons
Governing the sky
And though what they believed
They were about to die.
The Scientists had warned them
The Music Man was crying
The Philosophers had told them
They were set on dying.
And then they went to war
To satisfy their lust
And everything was lost
The planet turned to dust.
In the beginning of our time
Between Jupiter and Mars
There was a planet full of life
The pride of all the universe,
The pride of all the universe,
The pride of all the universe.
Between Jupiter and Mars
There was a planet full of life
The pride of all the universe.
