Co-Protest

Society is so crummy
It can't get any worse
There is no point in posing threats
We sit and watch it rot
They say punk-rock should wake up
The careless souls from sleep
Well, if our voices (are) not that loud
We still can live with it
I'd say the self-fulfillment
Is what it comes down to
We do our best to do our best
And see if it goes through

I won't lie to you
There are days when I
Have an urge to stop and to draw the line
But the joy that comes
From these silly bits
Makes us carry on, for some time at least

We use a foreign language
To make our message clear
Perhaps it's not the best decision
But frankly it just fits
We're not obsessed with touring
(We) don't do a lot of shows
Just hope that bunch of decent people
(will) Appreciate the songs
Our friends have warned us:
"You'll be a Myspace band"
But now it's clear that they were wrong
Since we're not Myspace band

I won't lie to you
There are days when I
Have an urge to stop and to draw the line
But the joy that comes
From these silly bits
Makes us carry on, for some time at least

I won't lie to you
There are days when I
Have an urge to stop and to draw the line
But the joy that comes
From these silly bits
Makes us carry on, for some time at least
