King of the Jersey Shore

I came to the place where I was born
The salty air and the oceans roar
All of the people they ignored
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
My golden past as faded as my tan
Nothing ever lasts in the sand
My life this dust slippin through my hands
Once a king now just an old man
Withered away like the wood beneath my feet
Stressed about the bills, fees and receipts
Once I had no worries and I slept on the beach
I had it all and nothing was out of reach
Just a boy with the sun upon his skin
Love was unavoidable like the wind
Just like the tide
Love would rise and fall again
All alone now I stand on this beach
Here is the place where I was born
The salty air and the oceans roar
All of the people they ignore
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
This one time king of the Jersey Shore
