I try to keep down my voice
And let words just slip out slowly
I tried it all on my own
And told the people not to worry
But no, I find it hard to excuse myself

A lot can change in a year
There's so much I've come to peace with

Maybe it didn't turn out right but it is the way it is
Did they think that I planned this out or just hoped for a hit or miss
It felt like I needed the change and some things you can't keep around
Although it makes it a harder move on, in the long run looks safe and sound
