Middle Class America

Boundaries were once black and white but now they're grey
And public schools are built to keep breeding sheeple for the system's prey
With all this madness around me, it's no wonder we've sunk so low
It's hard to put my faith in anything I've been told

Everything you thought you knew is just one bureaucratic lie
They try to keep you in line, but people ain't afraid to die
For what they believe in, I guess I'm not cut out to play this part
I just want to know that I gave my everything from the start

"Bang bang"
Someone screams, another one succumbs
To the machine
The coverage is bland and we're too dumb
To ask the right things
Grab your guns and suit up for war
We need a revolution
Cause middle class America sure is sore

The upper class funds the wars, they can't efface
Paid riots arise, all to make our world a safer place
But no one understands that, together we could stand so tall
Some people can't handle it cause their minds are small

We sit in our homes, fed with ads and violence on TV
While children of the world are forced to live in violent realities
With wealthy politicians, looking down from behind closed French doors
They'll never know the hefty price of living poor

"Bang bang"
Someone screams, another one succumbs
To the machine
The coverage is bland but we're too dumb
To ask anything
Pack up your guns, prepare for war
Begging for revolution
Cause middle class America sure is sore
Of being put down
Of having one foot in the grave
Nobody's coming to save us
And it ain't okay

So fuck your mogul psychopath with an evil grin and shifty eyes
Fuck your god complex and your chancellors, convicted for the seventh time
Fuck your deadbeat, dropout, hippocratic, pro-slavery team
And fuck your corporate America, an outright perversion of the American Dream
