My Island Fair

Long have I traveled o'er sea or by land
With the thought of my mission
On deck I will stand
Through mists and waves I'll wander there
To find great books for my island fair

Through scripts and old pages of forgotten sages
Westward and eastward and northward I'll go
Where'er I travel I'll always be there
Looking for books for my island fair

The moon she will guide me 'long paths of green
Yet it's not always bright rather dark and no gleam
I'll fend off demons and monsters there
I'll find my way back to my island fair

As ships sink low and races on waves
I'll back to my journey through libraries and caves
I'll always hold fondly these books I found there
As I take them back to my island fair
