Eden

We found a place to scatter our raindrop lily flower seeds
With no room to grow, no bloom to show
Trapped under the dying leaves

The coarse earth steals life without hesitation
The coarse earth takes life by starvation

It's grief, when we came to discover wilting petals covered with weeds
Without the breeze through uniform trees, the growth we want might just be a dream

This decaying ground spares no expense
This decaying ground shows no common sense
And now my sixth sense kicks in
And I know a change must begin soon

The land in which we stand lacks vitality
And this state we are in is void of emotionality
Just like the raindrop lily, we cannot grow
And because of this, we must go

But better days may reign in like King David
Not perfect, not the greatest
But graced by the grace of God

And better nights may unfold again
Come dance with me in moonlight land
Leave shouts of shame and untold pain
And enjoy the flutter of and open flame

Teeming with life, grass shelters seeds and seeds become life
And that suits our needs
The streams flow intricately through the seems
And the raindrop lilies move with the breeze
They move with the breeze
This is Eden
