Outro. (feat. Kit Kat)
To whom it's been concerning
There's still ink in my pen and a way with my words
They just need more definition when the vision gets blurred
I haven't forgotten the way I makes you feel
Your need for art to help you heal
I can fix that
But only sometimes
Most patience is a virtue
Well yours is wearing thin and it shows
It's like the lack of creativity offends you
Everybody asking
"Do you even still do this", "When's the next show"
There is only but so much of me left to give when the rent's due
To whom it's been concerning
The blood, sweat and tears on this canvas is for the both of us
I never know what color the next stroke is
I just pray that it's luck
Praying that the things I can offer in this world be enough
To whom it's been concerning
Your favorite part took me three weeks to write
Early shifts and sleepless nights
Making sure the message fits the concept right
'Cause if it's not on your mind
It's definitely out of sight
That's when our memories have to pick up the slack
I just want the peace in my place back
You can keep the outer just as long as I get my space back
So to whom it's been concerning
You don't have to be concerned anymore
Until the body becomes one with the earth
Fertile enough to create life from just water and dirt
Somebody else will tell the story of the poppies planted there
Consider this a rebirth
There's still ink in my pen and a way with my words
They just need more definition when the vision gets blurred
I haven't forgotten the way I makes you feel
Your need for art to help you heal
I can fix that
But only sometimes
