Terror On the Ghost Ship

The time had come to throw him overboard
The ocean pulsed just like an ugly sore
His clothes were torn, his skin all ripped and red
He thought of all the things that could have been

The creatures of the deep, they circled 'round
He saw their fins and heard their beastly sounds
"I'll be back," he said to all the crew
"You're done with me, but I'm not done with you."

The captain pushed him with his rusted sword
He walked the plank, then how the rain did pour
Seven days and seven black ink nights
Every hour, oh how that crew did fight

Their sails gone and holes punched in the ship
They heard a voice say, "Brothers, take a dip."
Slower than the burning hands of time
The ship, it sunk with no one left alive

But sometimes when the moon is dull and new
You'll see this ragged ship and ghostly crew
Their souls are trapped and they cannot break free
Doomed to walk the plank eternally
