Town Full of Ghosts

So I've been walking around in a town full of ghosts
Can't believe that somehow this used to feel like home
Maybe I'm too antsy but I feel they stare at me
Is there a target in my back for them to try to tear me down

So I've been running I'm escaping even if this means I'm loosing
But they won't let me no they're holding me so they are sure that I won't scream

For them it's just another day where they can lie at your face
Maybe they never knew the truth who can blame them, we never do
So they go wear their smiley face, out there it's all you can embrace
Unaware and unhappy but they never miss to say they're okay

Funny how quickly people can turn their backs
No matter how friendly they always can be bribe
Maybe it's just me maybe I've changed too much
