Concert for the Dogs

As you can see
I'm tired as can be
Just of living
A house that's not a home
Is no place where I belong
And it's killing me
Yet nobody seems to care
Hardships I've had my share
Just like anyone
I don't really mind
Happiness I've tried to find
Is a fleeting dream

I'll play my concert till the end
The dogs will be there to attend
I'll have to play my concert for the dogs

Men with pleading eyes
Much to my surprise
The sermon's not their own
Finding something to get behind
Can be rather hard sometimes
Try to find yourself
Everybody dies
It's one way to equalize
All the people you see
We're all to blind to see
That to go with dignity
Is in solitude

I'll play my concert till the end
The dogs will be there to attend
I'll have to play my concert for the dogs

As you can see
I'm tired as can be
Just of living
A house that's not a home
Is no place where I belong
And it's killing me

I'll play my concert till the end
The dogs will be there to attend
I'll have to play my concert for the dogs
