Check, check, check, check, check, is this thing on?
As I write down I remember like it's in my palm
Singing praises to the Lord like the book psalms
Never left me on my lonely no I'm not alone

You'd be surprised what the sheep do when the shepherds gone
They carry burden after burden cuz they wool is growing
I seen a lot along the block I seen a lotta wrong
I seen the fiends seen lost and I'm praying for them

Nobody told them bout they're value cuz the love is gone
They only used to, "Yo you stupid." And just play along
I seen a Father cry out cuz His children gone
But they can't hear him cuz it's better where the music on

This the sound the sound of a bitter story greater glory
Because He loves us so much he didn't end His story
His story teaches us about God's glory
And how the blessed one came down and He changed the story

Listen clear if you have an ear then let 'em hear
You will never understand love until you hear
The story bout Jesus Christ taking on your sins
He got beat got whipped bled for your tears

You were never worthy until He made you worthy
And all your sin and all your shame can all be taken from you
And you can live and you won't perish cuz of God above you
Cuz even if they click clack and bang He still love you

You know this suffering is nothing to my great reward
To be a martyr for my Father is a blessing dawg
And all disciples knew that death was just a stepping stone
Because of Jesus who had blessed them they would kill for them

They would kill their flesh and they would suffer daily
Because it's all for Christ who showed me how to labor
Because it's all for Christ I'm gonna love my neighbor
Because it's all for Christ I'm changing my behavior

Only one who's gonna master me will be my God
So when they cannot understand it man it's not my problem
When I show them all the gospel they all move to Sodom
But give it time because that seed is gonna grow up out 'em
