Fair Warning

I gave you fair warning that a storm was coming
I even told you that the sky was falling
But did you run for shelter
Or did you stare in amazement
At the dangers we are facing
In the face of this impending threat
We look towards hope but it hasn't come yet
Hug your kids tight and tell em not to fret
My moneys on we're all doomed now that thats a safe bet
Last night I asked God will I survive
I wonder why he won't reply
God I hope you hear talking
Cause death is approaching I hear him calling
He's at the front door I hear him knocking
He's turning the knob I forgot to lock it
Oh Lord I did what you told me
Too bad they just ignored me

Well if I decide to take a knee
The president said I should be a fired S O B
But I can take a Nazi flag and wave it through the streets
And still can be considered as a decent human being
The hipocracy is way too much for me
Had to stop watching the news cause it's embarrassing to see
My slave master and chief
I mean commander and chief
getting his rocks off living out his child hood dream
Of playing I declare war with real soldiers
Man he can't be sober
and a little bipolar
And I knew it was over
When I seen him stare into a solar eclipse
And this the one you say I should trust with the kill switch
Well I ain't come here just to vent
About politics and how democracy does not exist
Our presidents we elect them
But we can not select them
They gave us our options but no one thinks thats a problem
Well just enjoy it and continue on with your life
Till somebody wigs out and shoots everybody in sight
And pin it on gun control so they can take away our rights
And the shooters a terrorist
Well that is unless he's wh... haha
Wait don't make it about race
Cause race is not the issue
Cause Kim Jong got missiles
So we should send threats
Cause we also got missiles
And risk millions of lives before anything is official
No Not extreme even a little
Hope history don't repeat cause when I read about Nero
When Rome burned to the ground he laughed and played the fiddle
