My Little Stick of Dynamite Has Gone Out

My little stick of dynamite has gone out,
Its fuse was short just like a tiny sprout,
Yesterday it was burning up good,
But the wind got strong and put it to bed

Sometimes it feels good to be still,
Or go for a walk or climb up a hill,
And breathe in the air that so many have,
Like the guy I look just like but now his time has passed

My little stick of dynamite has gone out,
It kept me going when I was in doubt,
I like to hold it close even though its cold,
It was from another time so brash and bold

Sometime it feels good to see,
That being sad now can lead to being happy,
Remember the time I lived across the street,
You had a beautiful garden, it was an Arizona scene

My little stick of dynamite has gone out
My little stick of dynamite has gone out
My little stick of dynamite has gone out
My little stick of dynamite has gone out
