A Futile Crusade

From a throne of bone I sit
I watch the foolhardy and laugh
For I am Deamous, he who festers in lies
My armies shall bury Greadon's one to arise

Darkened druid are my minions
Who mass 'neath midnight skies
A hymn to me they sing
As flames burn in their eyes
Thirteen it takes to lead
These thirteen thousand more
Who plead to me, a need to be
Lead now into war

Come with me new soldiers
The mirror has taught you well
March towards this fight, with god felt might
Hear not their wicked knell
This battle is fought by righteous
For the righteous who once fell
Let truth now show, It's this we know
To war we now shall go

To war we now shall go
It once was said that pages read
Men stood from shore to shore
Lest it was a shame that this fought in vain
Would be deemed as the "Great War"
Thousands did span the coastline
Soon blood would quench the land
Each man blind that all his time
Was puppeteered by two gods hands

Each man blind that all his time's
Been puppeteered by two gods hands

The clash would last eternity
Yet never would be won
This battle to make history
Yet history never comes
For within the midst of deluge will be born a sacred son
Who will be exalted and then sacrificed
When evils work is done

Who would be exalted and then sacrificed
When evils work is done

Soon to come a newborn male
Who shall falter and then prevail
Spawned by hatred and wicked ways
His fate this night was no more days

The Thirteen within their circle
Return from their battle won
Sing out in thanks to lord Deamous
And soon give up their unborn son
