That's Who I Am That's What I Do

Mistakes in life, I've made quite a few
I did things in my past that I can't undo
And most of the stories about me are true
When I look back at my life in review
I see old habits that I finally left pass
And friendships I was able to make last

And that's who I am, that's what I do
This may be a shock to quite a few
Things about me they never knew
But that's who I am, and that's what I do

Sometimes when I didn't like the view
I would just search for something new
Yeah a dream that I could make come true
I developed goals that I would pursue

I made plans then I followed that road
Paid the debts when they were owed

And that's who I am, and that's what I do
This may be a shock to quite a few
Things about me they never knew
But, that's who I am, and that's what I do yeah

I like my body so I don't need a tattoo
At church I still sit in the same old pew
And the things that I like, I'm sticking to
I picked up golf when I was thirty two

The saying "that golf is like life" is true
Success comes when you follow through

I spent time chasing ladies it's true
A path to find love I had to pursue
It was a long, hard, path that led me to you
I've faced many challenges it's true
And hard times I've faced quite a few
But my trust in God helped pull me thru

And that's who I am, and that's what I do
