a panegyric

Enshrouded in the coalescence of tongues unfamiliar to my own
Similar to barking in the heat by
The river on the east side
Worlds that we think we know

Always reveal the grand surprise
The same one that always catches us off guard

Ugh, humanity
Look at her

Draped ever so regally in her ignorance
But let us not reprehend the poor child in her infancy
For she is not to blame for her intricate complexities
Our beauty finds a home among them

To the heavens I submitted, and proclaimed my lament
While atop devil's hill I sang, I wept
