Pushed to a path to break these iron chains
Distraint of body has certainly
Broken the mind
Can't seem to find myself in this
Isolation it's the peace that I seek
Protection from the pain trapped inside
Burned bridges are the only thing left in sight
Hope has been cut in front of my face

So that I may drift away
From everything holding me behind

The endless cycle of misfortune
Is drowning me inside

Still I, am picking the scattered mess
Inside, I'm on the verge of collapse
Question, every single intention that you've had
The voices are surrounding me
Relapse, I can feel the earth pulling at my feet
Nurture, my mind in hopes that it may heal
Losing focus of what I've wanted to become

Still I search for the pathway home
Scorched Earth from the ash of my match

The lone light home
Free from this realm of ghosts
