Soliloquy

It's common sense and senselessness
It's selfish and selfless, it's an anomaly

It's roses hiding thorns
It's flowers blossoming from storms, it's irony

It's childhood rooted shame
It's grief it's loss of self, it's pain, it's tragedy

It's jumping out of planes it's taking risk
It's having faith, it's gravity

It's shoving circles into squares
It's wearing plastic layers, it's conformity

It's finding art within your scars
It's the light that comes from the dark, it's healing

It's falling in and out of love
It's ups and upside downs, it's uncertainty

It's what you know not what you see
It's who you are, it's reality

Perhaps imagination is not where we go to escape reality

Maybe it's where we bridge the gaps between who we are and want to be
