June's Solstice (Fear the Messiah)

The year is 2120 on the Gregorian calender
12 years have passed since the affluent
Upper echelons plunged into the unknown
Those whose capital was judged upward for rapture
Here on earth damned humanity hangs
By the threads of an old planet in peril
Peering through the mist of stories told
Me and the bro dream of deep south
Thinking life here to be hopeless
We shall embark upon a journey of 5000 kilometres to the heart
Of the ever dwindling remnants of the antarctic
To answer the questions
Could mankind hold 2 fates simultaneously
And could one overcome the other
These we hope to find in the place where dreams meet reality
And where it's apparent our destiny lies.

First step on the ice continent
Big leap for the omnipotent
Cast doubt to the wayside
No way out won't say why

Cold out warm inside
Feel the power is growing it emanates
Movements natural as they ever came
Focus in the thoughts that I generate

Fear the spice how it taste like
Mankind with its short life
Past life never thought I
Would stumble on this thing of dreams

The form that always haunted we
I turn to my brother see his eyes are glowing
Not an expression literally glowing

Then his right hand raises above
A bright blue glow beneath the crust
The ice shelf cracks I'm backing off
Columns of light shoot out above

I call to my brother
"what the fuck"
He turns to me with those blue eyes his face deformed a spear at side
My veins turn cold I'll surely die

Meantime my brother aims high
And lifts the spear up above his shoulder

Left arm points up to the heavens
A particular star system grows colder

Then he let's loose the lance of Longinus
In my last few breaths I witness the spiralling
Diving spear of fire scorching heavens lonely islands
Eyes still blue he grows in size and something deep inside me dies
I hear the screams of distant lives
I fear the power
And the light
My vision fades to black I'm done
We've sown the seeds of years to come
I crumble into nothing while my brother grows to eat the sun

Hold the spice
Hold the power
Hold the universe
Hold the spice
Hold the power
Hold the universe
Hold the spice
Hold the power
Hold the universe
To hold the knowledge ain't a blessing but a fuckin' curse

Hold the spice
Hold the power
Hold the universe
Hold the spice
Hold the power
Hold the universe
Hold the spice
Hold the power
Hold the universe
To hold the knowledge ain't a blessing but a fuckin' curse

A dead man walks thru the desert
Blind without his vision
A vision led with good intensions
But the outcome isn't
A people freed by the boy as prophecy foretold
A people blinded by the faith and the power they hold
A thousand galaxies demolished by a people once weak
A thousand followers corrupted by the words that he speaks
The words were of a greater life with neither need or want
The words were said with good intentions but the outcome weren't

Hold the spice

Hold the power

Hold the universe

Hold the spice

Hold the power

Hold the universe

Hold the spice hold the wisdom know the path to be
Hold the power hold the people praying at your feet
Hold the people hold the means to not accept defeat
Hold the world in the hand and see how small it can be
Fear the messiah and the power that he can become
Fear the force of the followers and what can be done
Fear the feats of fanatics of the messiah and
Fear how one. small. thought. can meet a bitter end
Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah

Fear the messiah
