When I make eye contact with people various kinds
There's the boy who may look tough but is broken on the inside
And there's that girl, the one that hides behind her hair
And doesn't want people to notice that she's there
And then there's me, the fakest of them all
Who tells people to love themselves when I don't even know how

So we, we cover up our faces
And try to erase our footprints on this Earth
And maybe once we're pretty or maybe once we're stronger
We'll feel less insecure
