You gotta be careful with what you do and say
You gotta hold down the fort and weather the storm
You gotta be on your A-game when it's time to perform
I ain't playin', shit can get serious
So you gotta move fast, like real quick
Or else you can get your ass killed real fast
You better be prepared or else you won't last

Everyday of my life I encounter situations
Leaves me contemplatin' whether I'll face an altercation
I keep God by my side, I'm prayin' to him all the time
For the hopes I can survive and make it out alive
It's a constant struggle, they wanna drag you to hell
Destroy every part of you until you don't know yourself
I'm just wonderin' why I endure this pain
I wanna be happy, not see my life go down the drain
I got enemies galore cause I'm always at war
With myself, I don't know why I come back for more
It's like I have a death wish though I'm afraid of death
I'm so apathetic, I'd embrace the last breath
World's so hard to fix, it's like we keep creatin' problems
And it's still revolvin', how the fuck can I solve them
Danger's everywhere, It's like a minefield out there
Either you're scared of dyin' or you grow a pair
It's your choice

My life's a situational, my irritation level
High, It make me confrontational
You can blame it on my pride, what would it really take for you
To swallow that and move aside if I was really great for you
Say I could but that's a lie, he face a different avenue
Peek the mirror, see the creature, yeah that's lookin' back at you
Face your fears and park them out, find out there all subtractable
An actual shadow that's dark and made just to react to you
Bounce back and then lose it, I find ignorance in losers
Take every doubt and I noose them, make every birthday hat useless
All these negative questions, man I ain't here for the scruples
Look you right in the eye, realize you're barely a pupil, hardly a student
Try to take these lessons and use them, got a master rip before they leave your spirit in ruins
I hear what they're doin', I choose to find a brighter side
It just so happens to be where all the darkness lies

They can define you at your best
Or they can define you at your worst
How you handle your situations is how you handle yourself
You gotta have confidence when handling these situations
Otherwise the situations will handle you
So handle your situations
