Pathfinder

What kind of a peace do I mean and what kind of peace do we seek?
Not a Pax Americana
Enforced on the world by american weapons of war
Not the peace of the grave, or the security of the slave
I am talking about genuine peace
The kind of peace that makes life on Earth worth living
The kind that enables many nations to grow and to hope
And building better life for their children
Not a merely peace for americans, but peace for all men and women

I will throw off the shackles
That you've held tightly
Over my mind and my soul

I will throw off the shackles
That you've held tightly
Over my mind and my soul

The judgement in your eyes
Will hold no weight
Who can move what outweighs the Earth?
Surely not one born of its own waters

Despite the truth in your eyes
And the blood on your hands
You refuse the refuge
Filled with peace

Filled with peace

Look towards the mountains
They light your way
Look towards the mountains
They light your way, light my way

Your lungs cannot withstand the waves
His wrath will swallow you like the sea
Pathfinder, let your justice reign
