From a Manger to the Cross

I hear a voice crying
In the dark late at night
It's Marry in labour awaiting
The doors keep on closing
There's no where to stay
Bethlehem doesn't want
To receive Him

I hear on the streets
A desperate man searching
It's Joseph in sadness discouraged
Come Mary give birth
That's all that was found
The manger it is awaiting

I hear in the night
From the glorious sky
A song that is bringing Him Glory
The angels are singing
To Christ that was born
To be King forever and ever
The wise men, the shepherds

And the angels all bowed
To give Jesus our Lord the Glory
I hear a loud shout
It's another king in madness
Harold saying "Death to the children"
I hear after times

Behold! A voice shouting in the
Wilderness It's s john the baptist
Bringing a message
The one that is coming is near and just
He is bringing to us all salvation
And soon there's a voice

That is heard from the Heavens
Our Father that reigns forever
"This is my bellowed Oh my
Only son in whom
I am pleased"

I hear people gathered
The multitudes that follow
The teacher that speaks life and wisdom
I hear some are saying I'm healed I'm free
And many amazed at His power

But suddenly crowds are shouting in hate
"To death with this man! Crucify Him!"
From a manger to the Cross
For us He has came
We were blinded and didn't see his Kingdom

The angels in glory
Arrive once again
The rock from the tomb it is moved
He lives! He is king!
He reigns all the Earth
And the Havens all give Him the glory

I hear now a trumpet
That time has arrived
Bethlehem He is coming in Glory
