Trying to figure out
As we grow up
A lot of problems that we had
That were never resolved
A lot of issues that we had
That were always covered up
Afraid of being looked at weird
Or being judged
Trying to find our place
Always looking to find ourselves
Amongst the rejects, the wannabes and left outs
Ignoring what they told us

Now they're surprised that we ended up so strong
