Six Feet of Corona

The virus rolled in like a red tide
Wreaking fear and havoc leaving nowhere to hide
If you stay at home you'll be alright
But if you go out, the virus might strike

Corona doesn't care who you are
Rich or poor or if you drive a fancy car
The Governor says please do your part
Social distancing is smart, six feet apart

Six feet apart, you know that's just a start
Don't go out on the town and run around
Or you just might find yourself, six feet underground

The scientists said we should all stay home
Communicate by internet and phone
Wash our hands, but never touch our face
And for the good of the race, shelter in place

Shelter in place, to save the human race
Don't go out on the town and run around
Or you just might find yourself, six feet underground

Corona has finally hit its peak
The death toll is rising taking mostly old and weak
The Doctors are the heroes of the day
And the citizens say, we're grateful in every way

Six feet apart, we played it really smart
Didn't go out on the town and run around
And now we find ourselves
Six feet above the ground!
Six feet above the ground!

Its coming through your town!
