Progress

Dirty clothes in a dirty home
We've cleaned up a lot since then
I'm finally feeling whole in this place
We've washed all the sheets & hung them out with care to dry
And times all we have for now
For now

It's a work in progress
But the ghosts inside my head
They don't scare me as much as they once did
As much as they once did

Dirty clothes in a hamper alone
Left out on the hallway floor
I've never been more scared to die
But I think about it so much that there's some strange comfort here
In the monotony of it all
Of it all

It's a work in progress
But the ghosts in my head
They don't scare me as much as they once did
It's a work in progress
But the ghosts under our bed
They don't scare me, as much they
They once did

There's not enough hours in the day
I'm trying to find some time
Just to reciprocate

We had it all
We have it all
We'll have it all
We had it all
We'll have it all

It's a work in progress
But the ghosts in my head
They don't scare me as much as they once did
It's a work in progress
But the ghost under our bed
They don't scare me, as much they
They once did
