Magnum Opus

Tell-A-Vision

What
It's Tell-A-Vision y'all
BANDIT man this beat right here so soulful dawg
Magnum
Opus
Yeah

Currently it's 1 am and now my mind is racing
I got so much love to give, but now my heart is vacant
I feel like I'm wasting time but i'm just lacking patience
What you're witnessing is history up in the making
Call the album Magnum Opus cause it's so important
I hit up Bred, lock me in, I feel like recording
Figured out the meanest women are the ones that's gorgeous
Had to cut off many friends due to evil forces
Looking back at last year and nothing much has changed
I graduated outta college and I felt the same
My family drama getting strong, they're growing estranged
But through it all I talk to God and I give him the praise
My parents got divorced twice, but it's crazy how
I find a way to thank the Lord on how he played it out
Cause even though there both divorced and dad is not around
I thank the Lord that they're alive and not deep in the ground
As crazy as it sounds
When my father's mom passed, he needed consoling
Never seen my daddy cry until that very moment
We walked up to see the body, and his eyes was soaking
He kissed her cheek, said goodbye, and my heart was broken
I ain't never seen no one that strong
And dad just in case you bump into this song
Just know I love you, ya mama is the proudest one
And I'm so glad to tell the world that I'm your oldest son
Yeah

I decided to call this Magnum Opus because it's the most important project of my life
Yeah there's a lot of highs
There's a lot of lows right
But through it all I give God the praise

I always knew that I was gifted when I started writing
Every single song you hear I bet you feel enlightened
I was rapping up in school and people would like it
Man shout out to Dulles High, the home of the Vikings
Boy I swear my mind be racing, it's quicker than lightening
I'm so comfortable with change, I live with excitement
If we going bar for bar, you better be frightened
Living life with foresight, you'd think I was psychic
Can't nobody match up with me, I'm the coldest one
I'm feeling like a young LeBron, I'm the chosen one
I had some demons in my closet, I'm exposing some
I'm so high up off of life I can roll you one
I promise when I make a promise, theres no broken one
Ima shower you in truth, you should soak in some
Boy I swear my life a comedy, a joke or something
But I treat this music dead serious
It's Magnum Opus, the awoken one

As I went back to, to listen to my old catalogue
From Wake Up when I was listening to stuff like Grindin'
And, and Like Me
I realized I was tryna, chase a sound, catch a wave
And that wasn't really me so I decided to delete all that
To all the people asking
But, as I lived life throughout this year
And seen more experiences
I was able to feel heartbreak
I was able to feel sadness, grief, anger, happiness, joy
And, I knew with this project I wanted to give you all of that in one
With this one, I wasn't chasing a sound
I wasn't, I wasn't chasing a wave
I wasn't chasing anybody
And, I knew with this one you'd be able to relate to it because
It wasn't me tryna sound like him or tryna sound like them
Or, tryna be relevant
I know those who connect with this album will connect with it
Because they connect with me
And, I'm just so proud of this man really
It's crazy
I've never been this vulnerable but I know that
Through my vulnerabilities when I put out songs like Self Reflection
A lot of people was able to relate to that so
Why hold back that gift
So, it's a lot of people I wanna thank but
Most importantly I wanna thank God for giving me this gift
And secondly I wanna thank you
So without further ado cause I don't wanna talk your ear off
Welcome to my world, my life
Enjoy
Magnum Opus
