Cyphers in a Circus

I ain't tryna stack a deal or attract a mass appeal
Too busy having meals of these rappers in my battlefield
Grabbing at ideals, but they all laugh at real
Kick back with boom bap tracks even your dad'll feel
And your damn brother, even your grandmother
Will all be saying
"Damn man, Sam you're a bad fucker"
When ripping a track, I'm bringing it back
Beginning to quicken the rhythm I rap
Hit them with facts and wisdom intact
I'm wishing they'd listen to more than a rap
But that's just how the game goes
Like every John and Jane Doe
Are messing with the same flow
But ain't got much to say though
So I try and rap like Plato
To open up your brain bro
But I go show them a rainbow
They complain about rain though
Ain't no one wanna take responsibility
When lost in mob hostility, it's not a possibility

"My job is not fulfilling me, my boss is often drilling me
My body mind are broken and my soul is lost religiously"

It's a pity, but only you can fix it
If your life ain't working for you, you need to flip it
But don't come at me to complain about your problems
If you're knocking down the options and not trying to solve them
Every problem has got a solution
But you won't be improving if you refuse to be moving
I'm seeing through the confusion view you what you spew as delusion
Because staying stagnant's seducing but I see through the illusion

Because everybody always want to pass the blame
Putting in the work is hard it's easy to complain
Easy to just stay the same let nothing ever change
But I'ma get my gain
I'ma go against the grain
I keep it real while these other rappers masquerading
Chew over these bars in your own time, masticating
I've been on the grind for a long time, macerating
If you only fuck with your own rhymes, masturbating

I'm getting sick of waiting, I'm making shit happen
I'm only getting started, never gonna quit rapping
Not gonna stop popping off of the top until I drop beneath the surface
Of the earth because my purpose is blurting words in these verses
Clowning round at first, cyphers in a circus
Then it became my therapy when I was feeling worthless
Now it's clear to me, it's become an obsession
Expressing what I'm suppressing and overcoming depression
I never run from a lesson, profess I'm always progressing
Professor running the lesson so rappers run when I'm testing
Assessing each and every syllable
Giving them iller visuals
Killer but not literal
Verbal it's not physical
Hurdles are so minimal when looking from a birds eye
Individuals were cynical until I opened their third eye
This absurd guy is rapping for a reason
There's lies I'm trying to weaken and minds I'm trying to deepen
But I'm not merely here to teach or to be preaching
The truth is out there so let's all just keep seeking
No height is unattainable so we keep reaching
And we're sick of staying silent and so we'll keep speaking up
