The Choice

In the night the darkness grow
Crawling through my world
I had to see the falling light
But I don't want to see no more

A stranger speaks of hateful lies
Spreading fearful warnings
But the fear he seeks to spread
Comes from self-taught mourning

He tries to seek, to justify
This can't be how it is
Confusion, doubt, within his mind
And now the choice is his

In the morning the mirror breaks
Shattered memories lost
And we see that those who wait
Will find the truth within their hearts

Cause there's a choice that we all make
Each and every day
The end result is all the same
But we must find our own way

I can see the burning, churning
Deep within his soul
And now I fear the world will wait
To see which way he'll go

He tries to seek, to justify
This can't be how it is
Confusion, doubt, within his mind
But now the choice is his
