The Game of Life

Life could be so easy
If you'd only realize what you can do
Stop living on your memories
Remembering the way he treated you
Cos all of us are different
There's none of us the same
I am not a man who likes to play the stupid game of life

So you've been through the ringer
I'm telling you that I've been through it too
I've been beaten up and pushed around
And made to look a clown well how 'bout you
Did he make you look so stupid
In front of all your friends
Did he bring you to your knees the day he told you it's the end
Well that ain't right
But I guess that's the game of life

Well I know that there's been days
I've played the game and won
And people asked me why
I'd gone and done the things I'd done
And if I'm being honest
Was it really so much fun to win
To win the game of life

So I sit among the mountains
In the forest with the rivers flowing by
There is beauty all around me
It's everywhere I choose to turn my eyes
And when I leave this planet
I guess all this will still be here
And on the day I die
When I look back upon my years
I'll be happy in the knowledge
I've done so many things
That ultimately here is where a new life will begin
And if I'm being honest
I guess it's all of us who win

Who win the game of life
The game of life
We all win the game of life
(Hey)
We all win the game of life
We all win the game of life

Life could be so easy
If you'd only realize what you can do
