I have set myself apart from that, which is, my past
I have both earned and established truth among surrounding souls
I have endured false care and hypocrite ethics, both of which, haunt me still
Throughout which endeavors, you've only tread on me
I have sought to entertain, while you've brought upon me shame
I have shared my own pain, while you've filled me with disdain
I have tried to keep sane, while you've driven me insane
Throughout which endeavors, you would shed blood on me
I have learned both love and life, aiming to practice both in decades-to-come
I have stapled my name into a future, that is my own
I have earned professional wisdom, and experience, and would share incite to my bystanders
Throughout which endeavors, you have only lay doubt on me
I have strained cells to improve, while you'd strain cells and deteriorate
I have made strides to simplify living, while you'd strive to only complicate
I have learned to handle my pride, while you've managed to sweep it aside
Throughout which endeavors, you have put strain on me
