The Girl and the Tower

Once upon a time
In the reign of rhymes
Lived a girl so cute
Kind and fair, but mute

She couldn't make, indeed,
Even a rhyme written on sheet
She couldn't play or sing a song
They all blamed her to be wrong

She could build a lot of things
Using bricks, wood and strings
So she built a tiny home
And a tall tower on her own

I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I'm not lazy, fake or weak
So I'm proud to be called freak

And I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I don't gossip, copy or cheat
So I'm proud to be called freak

The villagers could rhyme
About every fact and crime
They were chatting all day long
About the tower and it's "gnome"

The girl built a pair of wings
To fly far from those empty chains
She saw lots of places and kings
Makin' friend a giant prince

I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I'm not lazy, fake or weak
So I'm proud to be called freak

And I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I don't gossip, copy or cheat
So I'm proud to be called freak

When they saw her havin' fun
They set up the Freak Alarm
To her home they set up a fire
But she lived up in the tower

She took her wings and her desires
Flyin' out from the fire
Showin' them by inspire
Her middle finger to admire

I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I'm not lazy, fake or weak
So I'm proud to be called freak

And I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I din't gossip, copy or cheat
And I'm proud to be called freak

I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I'm not lazy, fake or weak
So I'm proud to be called freak

I'm not normal, no, you see
You can't blame me to be me
'Cos I don't gossip, copy or cheat
So I'm proud to be called freak

A fuckin' freak
I'm just a freak
A happy freak
A happy me
