Wolves

I hear you
In flash floods of colour
You fill me
With images from another
Restoring the tranquillity of youth
Confronting the legacy and the tradition of truth
Past demands hearts of obsidian condemned to oblivion
For unbiased eternity
I hold the dagger I see before me
And devour poetry like a starved cannibal
Bleak is the day when your eye wanders
My body is prophecy
Lavender eyes and Moorish sparks

Go tell the wolves I'm home
Go tell the wolves I'm home

Go tell the wolves I'm home
Go tell the wolves I'm home
Go tell the wolves I'm home
Go tell the wolves I'm home

My want is the rash on my soul
Habitual remedies block my ability to atone
Now come
Berate me, degrade me, break me, rape me
There's a man who smells of blue
And his sins shine like furious heaven
There's this man who smells like red
Ever looking for his lover
The contract of sleep keeps me awake
At night I writhe against the dying lights
I see shadows of history condemn my future's fight
Now my rage upon the stage is born upon a desecrated page
And my demons find placement in my words
As they refuse to stay in place
Fury is the beauty of a hate I can't escape
Love the rebellion of long forsaken slave

Go tell the wolves I'm home
Go tell the wolves I'm home

Allegations of suffrogation
An inflammatory examination
Now leave the probation of sanitation
And point the finger at another nation
Easier to blame all the immigration
Because currently we are inundated
With salvations and lacerations
The common boy takes no persuasion
To join the outrage of a generation
This is called alienation
The cyclical duality of exaggeration
If you're gonna lie to your kids
Then who the fuck is gonna to raise them?
