Blue Country

I found myself in a country house
Surrounded by the people of the town
There's was a band playing bluegrass and everybody was drunk
Smoke and beer, guitar, banjo and mandolin

The dobro slide started to cry
And violin melodies were above the staff
Mandolin strums hit the strings and bluegrass rhythm caught me
The hit of the spoons, dancing under the full moon

Surrounded with the contrabass
The walking fingers dance in the fretless arm
The "Caged" system on guitar, alternate picking, steel strings
A great jig dance, Scottish whiskey, Irish Dance Reel

I found myself driving a tractor
Dodging chicken, cows, sheep and pigs
The farmer with his shotgun was trying to catch me
Sadly for him, he was drunker than me (ha-ha-ha-ha)

Riding like a tractor horseman
Flying on the green grass of the farm
Suddenly the tractor hit the big farm house
The beer was spilled, and everybody wanted to kill me

I started running for my life
The bluegrass band wanted to kick my ass
Dodging kicks, mandolins, bottles of whiskey
Suddenly I wake up, that was my countryside wild night
