A Fireside Tale for Those of Inquiry

How can all this dissolve, with so much remorse
When I'll burn fast, every time
This failing path reveals us for what we are
Now with open eyes

How will I carry on
Before the weight of this sorrow
Follows a faint heavy heart
It smothers the light you hold so weak
Take shelter from this creature

In time we may just fade away
Recluse in our thoughts and
Hope for someone to
Crack this paper door and shine
A light to part this fog
Enough to find a way home
Reveal apart of me and hide
The rest of everything
Now with open eyes

How will I carry on
Before the weight of your sorrow
Follows a faint heavy heart
And smothers the light you hold so weak
Take shelter from this creature
No I won't fall from grace I will endure your reign
With hope I'll face this fear and guilt
I'll rebuild this heart and start a new
Some where I'll find a way within

To save this love
I'll wage war
Now we're not so wrong
