Petrified Sunset

When I was a child
Descending
Through the open

All the colors were swirling
And the people were glowing
As I was sent
Gazing out the realm of the soul
Through my new vessel

Every now and again, the blue is real
Again

When I was a child
Nobody told me
That I was naked

I just went where my heart went
Didn't have any fears
For there were no
Toes to step on, no body to miss, no tragedies clouding the depths
Of my very actions

Every now and again, the blue is real
Again

When I was a child
With my hands
Always open

We would run around all day
Go get lost in the woods
The world was our fun little game
Then we'd go in to wash up for dinner
