Sand Crab

I built a sandcastle for you
But the ocean took it away
And I picked a crab up off the sand
And he pinched my finger
Though it didn't break the skin
It did hurt a little bit, just a little bit, just a little bit of pain

And the sand is feeling more like sandpaper these days
I don't remember it that way when we were kids
How the time flies by and I feel the ocean
Will take me away

When I was young
I watched pretty girls walk along the shore (But I'm not young anymore)
Now I'm old and I watch little kids playing in the surf
Catching Sand crabs in a bucket and I wish I could go back again
