Searching for signs of intelligence
Difficult these days or so it seems
Had no idea just what I'm up against
Fiction's overwriting reality

I never claimed to be a wise man
But everybody else appears to think
they're now an expert on everything

We have so much to learn
But everywhere I turn
The things I see passed off as facts
don't make us any wiser and now...

So I'm going underground
