To the sun and moon
She ran and played in the rain
Happiness was her tune
But now it flipped sideways
This pain she harnessed
Trapped all in a maze
Never afraid of the darkness

Lost in the darkness, she can't get away
Follows the light, keeps the demons at bay
Hoping that darkness just turns into grey
She needs the light just before she decay
She honestly tries just to overachieve
"Wanna look great when they all look at me"
Mix the work with the pain, like recipe
Seeking approval like necessity
But she don't know just what to do
All this pain she can't get through
Can't fit in, I think they knew
Only if you could see her view
Cuz she's lost, and she broken
Sometimes she feel so hopeless

She rather focus on what she is taught
Sadly got hated on, that's quite a lot
"You just a nerd and you'll never be hot!"
All this hate, she can't comply
Wants to breakdown, and just cry
Asking questions, what and why
All this pain, she'd rather die

Good in people, she prefer
