Sunrise Hill

I fell asleep, had a dream that I saw you again
In a room I'd seen before
I didn't know where I was 'till I awoke, then I was sure
It was in the house that you lived in when we were young

We were the boys of the neighborhood, so young and full of life
And the world so young, so new
And the waves crashing on the shore it was a lovely sight
And in that moment I found out I was alive
When we were lying in the middle of the street, waiting still
For the sunrise to come over the hill

We were just boys, young and ignorant and our greatest plan
Was to leave the world behind
But look at us now, just two spokes on the wheel
And we've used up all the time we had to kill
Waiting for the sunrise to come over the hill

We were lying in the middle of the street, waiting still
For the sunrise to come over the hill

I fell asleep, had a dream that I saw you again
In a room I'd seen before
I didn't know who I was and I still don't think I'm sure
But that sunrise comes up once more
