There's a small and misty dark room
In the corner of my mind
Sometimes this is where my rationality will hide
From the demons that I've always feared to fight

There's a hard and heavy weight
That hovers just above my chest
Sometimes it will clamp its self down tighter than my vest
Whenever darkness puts me to the test

But fear is nothing but a bump in the road
You either let it stop you or you
Plough right through and learn to let it go
Once you face then you'll wonder why you feared it all along

There's an ever-knowing wise man
Still learning from his books
Sometimes he will raise his eyes, to give a certain look
When he disapproves of certain roads I've took

Cause you can do anything you put your mind to
As long as you believe it then it's true
And there are no dreams that are impossible to reach

There's a little childlike quiver
That's been hiding in my throat
Sometimes it will ponce just as I'm reaching for that note
That one that I can never seem to hold

But limits are nothing but a bump in the road
