The Final Blow

A peaceful night
A good night's sleep
Lost in time
A distant dream
Loved ones gone
His land no more
Dressed with chains
Body and soul
No way out
The pain felt
The anchor falls
On dirty soil
Dragged by devils
Through unknown lands
Only thing he sees
Bruised in his head
His home in devil's flame

Doesn't know their talk
Knows their ugly stare
His folks go one by one
Only so much they can bare
Feet drenched in their blood
A fire starts to rise
He feels it burn inside
And grows to despise

Those who claim they own all
His only care left
That of their demise
He's standing up
Shouting a promise

"If I should die in your flame
You will walk with me right in
The deeds you thought would faithfully serve
Now serve as your ending"

Only a chain and a shovel
Are left to his name
His soul is digged in and he starts digging his way out
One more chance to
Break free all he can
Be it his vengeance or be it those still not brought in

He starts reaching out
Grabbing the heads
That made his own roll
He carves in the last
Words they'll ever hear

"If I should die in your flame
I'm taking you with me
The deeds you thought would faithfully serve
Now serve as my final blow"

"If I should die in your flame
I'm taking you with me
The deeds you thought would faithfully serve
Now serve as my final blow"
