Water Cycle Tune

We just had our first real snow of the year
It's got me feeling kinda cagey I must say
Makes me want to race up to the mountains so damn quickly
Feel that pressure in my ears
Let the sky and trees and rivers make me feel real small
In a good way

I wanna see precipitation falling on the continental divide
I'd take a raindrop or a snowflake or a piece of sleet or slush or hail or ice
Ride a river down a mountain to the ocean evaporate into the sky
Condensate into a cloud, get real high, float around for a little while

I guess we're all just mostly water
Think I learned that one in science class
To be precise, 'bout 60 percent of you is water
On a skeleton in bags
Don't you know the same goes for all of our mother earth
Every day you drink some, give some back
When I die my water will live on in her
Conserve that energy and mass

Someday we'll all be precipitation falling on the continental divide
I'd take a raindrop or a snowflake or a piece of sleet or slush or hail or ice
Ride a river down a mountain to the ocean evaporate into the sky
Condensate into a cloud, get real high, float around for a little while
