Thought that I could just walk away

Thought that I gave all I had to give

But now the world I see is grey
Thought I got out cause I was brave

Thought it was fair that I could live

Did I not deserve to escape?

(Don't you care that we're gone?)
Never looking back was the plan we agreed upon
(How can you sleep at night?)
I swear I thought what I was doing was right

There's nothing I can do to change

There's nothing but your memories

How can you leave me with all the blame?

(How could you let us drown?)
You never wanted to be saved, you'd just pull me back down

Only if I don't find a way to forgive myself

All of these steps which I take
Just a matter of time until the ground would break
Descend into black before I awake
Pounding on these stone walls, no sign of escape
