Primal Fear

In life you fight so many things as a human being
But When you are a woman
But when you are a woman
You are fighting things and you are going
What?

Today I wanna talk about the primal fear
Because it is a something that
As a woman you will never understand

Relationship
The very essence of the word
Brings out how we should act
So when we have an argument
It doesn't mean you should pack
Conveying ideas is relative
So when you say "I"
But in your head heard "us"
In reality what wasn't said was "we"
Then you wonder why we continue to fuss

First we need to work on our unit
So stop stressing me
Pressuring me
To increase our family
Always instigating a war
Between my career and my maternity
As if 8 hours a day
Is not a constant reminder of my responsibility
To perform like a man
While maintaining my femininity

Conversely
24 hrs a day
You don't perform at all
You can just be yourself
Quoting the scripture "woman submit to my all"
But I digress
I guess...
It is the estrogen
In any event
Let me be the modern woman you request
Do not subject
Me to your primal fear of the male ego's death
Let me love you like the woman I am
Without fear of losing you
Because I have an opinion and I am strong

That was good

Don't Label It
God Made This
