Intro To Urge For Going - Live at The 2nd Fret, Philadelphia, PA, 11/1966

I come from a place in Canada called Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Which, to some people, sounds like a disease
Up there we joke about Kalamazoo, Michigan
When I found out that that place really does exist, I was amazed
But erm, the winters in Saskatchewan are very cool
The seasons are cool, and the temperature changes as much as 150 degrees in a year
Which is pretty radical
And when winter comes, and
December comes, and January is threatening to come

With temperatures dropping down to 50 below zero
The people begin to act very peculiarly
And they say, "Hey, why can't I go some place else for the winter?"
And some of them who have enough money
The wealthy farmers actually do go down to some place like Miami or Bermuda
The Bahamas, places like that, just to escape it
But the rest of the people have to sit it out
With the blizzards, and the blusters, and, this is how they feel I think
