My Fix

My head gets cloudy sometime
You can tell by the shade and the size of my eyes
And the daydreaming I do
Most folks think I don't have a clue

I got thunder in my heart, I know that you've seen it
But there's rust on these bones and oh I can feel it
The seasons may change but the roots stay the same
Whole new year but the same old game

So
I keep my hands in my pocket
Put my chin to my chest
I keep my heart in the pocket
Of this bullet-proof vest
And I won't be losing it
Like all the bad habits that I can't quit
You're still my fix
It happens more than I'd like the admit these days
I'm just drifting away

Wake up it's already 2
Thought my old crisis was through
My head always pounds
Can't stop this train now

My next move is a plan of attack
Gotta get this thing going if I'm ever coming back
Shake of the rust that's enough
Let's get this train back on track

So
I keep my hands in my pocket
Put my chin to my chest
I keep my heart in the pocket
Of this bullet-proof vest
And I won't be losing it
Like all the bad habits that I can't quit
You're still my fix
It happens more than I'd like the admit these days
I'm just drifting away

I keep my hands in my pocket
Put my chin to my chest
I keep my heart in the pocket
Of this bulletproof vest

And I won't be losing it
Whoa oh
And I won't be losing it
Whoa oh
And I won't be losing it this time

And I won't be losing it
Whoa oh
And I won't be losing it
Whoa oh
And I won't be losing it this time

My head get cloudy sometimes
You can tell by the shade and the size of my eyes
And the daydreaming I do
