Paul Story
Paul's story
Born into this society that's cold
Paul's story
Innocent, cursed environment
Ya
Fresh out the stomach came paul "the human wrecking ball"
Born and raised in a trailer park on crenshaw
His relatives took him under their wing and raised him
Taught him everything he needed to know on what to bring to the world
But he wasn't prepared for the mood swings
That would tie his feelings up like some shoe strings
Inside his brain 'as he grew, but he grew up confused
Wondering why his parents weren't introduced
They loved him but were scared to break him with the sad news
But they knew that sooner or later, they just had to tell him
When they did, they saw a change in his attitude
He was angry, shocked, and truly saddened by the truth
It took a toll on his gratitude with a stench of abandonment
Tryna figure out where his parents went
To ask 'em why they dipped and why he wasn't good enough to be their son
He wondered, was he a mistake 'they tried to duck from, without even telling him
Now he's stuck with the clues
With no help to figure it out, It's like he raised himself
Cause what he faced, no-one, not even his relatives could help
Cause it was something that he had to heal within himself
But still he struggled with his life that was a living hell
It hit him hard when his papa died when he was 12
He had no guidance to guide him on how to be a man
Or how to keep fighting whenever he blew his chance
On tryna make his life advance from his past trees
That hung his history behind his insecurities
Forgiveness was his enemy with no one's sympathy
After his brain snapped unexpectedly with extra speed thru heat
So he proceeded with the weed to relax
Then he started popping pills when he was insomniac
Had to make some extra cash, so he started selling crack
Months later, he was suffering in a fatal relapse
Rehab was far from what he thought of in his whirlwind
Bipolar made it's unsettled appearance to kick in his system
But the music would stop him from him committing
An act of satan's dirty work of reprehension
Cause ever since he's been a victim of the degradation
He would hate on his complexion, causing separation
Between his mind and his creations, as an sad musician
Till one day he sat up in the crib and started reminiscing
On what he's been through and what he had to fight thru
To proudly earning that diploma from his high school
From getting bullied constantly and being lied to
To building plenty of wisdom to fairly find truth
From being told what he won't ever amount to
To blocking critics with his lyrics that are soundproof
From a traumatic experience to a point to prove to others
That it's possible for any dream to come true, ya
That's paul's story right there
The story of his life
But no one understands what he had to go through
The story, paul's story
Born into this society that's cold
Paul's story
Innocent, cursed environment
